after the cutscene you should escort the prisoner, however it seems like the prisoner always resets instantly and disappear. its currently impossible to escort him. i tested all of them, nobody worked
Fixed. The prisoner gave up the moment you closed his window or took your first step, so the escort failed and he disappeared every time. This came from a change made the day before so escorted characters could talk while they follow, and it broke every escort quest, not just this one. Now he follows you all the way to the Magic Ward, and the Elyos version of the quest works the same way. In a group, everyone on that step can ask him along, and one of you falling behind no longer ends it for the others. If you log out during the escort, the quest goes back one step and you can ask him again. Live after the next server update.
